Tom has studied the double bass and bass guitar for over 22 years. He got his start learning bass guitar from his father when he was 5 years old, and hasn't looked back.
He earned his Bachelor's of Music Degree in Music Performance at Ithaca College, and his Master's Degree in Music Performance at University of Ottawa
He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and others with various groups of many different styles.
He has performed with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, earned an orchestral apprenticeship with the National Arts Centre' Orchestra, performed in bands that performed alongside Cory Henry, Aqueous, Turkuaz, Big Mean Sound Machine, John Brown's Body, and many more. He also composes pieces on bass guitar with two handed tapping technique, amongst other techniques.
